  • We will send you a full quotation based on your chosen items & date

  • Return the booking form to us with your deposit


That’s it – the finishing touches to make your event fabulous are sorted!


Terms & Conditions


Hire Period


Hire tariffs are calculated based on one day events, with the hire period lasting two days; beginning at midday on the preceding day and ending at midday on the day following the event. Extra time may be arranged but will be chargeable.  In most cases if the event takes place on a Saturday, the hire period is automatically extended to midday on the following Monday at no extra charge.  Should you wish for a longer hire period please get in touch to discuss special rates.

It is very important that all items are checked as soon as you receive them as any damages or order errors must be reported to us within 4 hours of the delivery/collection. 


Booking Process


We take bookings up to 12 months in advance, therefore as soon as you have a confirmed date for your event we recommend securing the items and date with us to avoid disappointment.  In order to confirm the booking we require a deposit of 50% of the total hire charge which is payable when submitting the booking form.  This deposit is non-refundable.  The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the event.  All bookings are subject to a £100 damages deposit (£250 for the light up letters) which will be added to your total bill, then refunded after the return of the hire items, minus any charges for breakages and/or damages.  Please note that in some cases the damages charge may exceed the deposit given. In this case an invoice will be sent to you and will be payable within 28 days.

Once the 50% deposit has been received we will contact you in writing to confirm your booking.  Please note that your booking is secured only after you have received this confirmation.




In the event of a cancellation less than 6 months prior to the event date, unfortunately your non-refundable deposit will be retained.  If a cancellation is made more than 6 months before the event, all monies will be returned in full.  Should you need to change the date of your event we will endeavour to provide the items you require for your new date, however this may not be possible and we cannot be held responsible if we are unable to do so and the deposit will be retained.




We offer a delivery service for any address within 25 miles of YO62 4DY.  The delivery service is charged at £10 per trip, therefore £20 in total for delivery and collection.  Delivery and collection outside of this radius can be arranged (depending on distance) and will be charged at 75p per mile per trip, therefore £1.50 per mile for both delivery and collection.  If you would prefer to collect and return the items yourself this is not a problem, however please ensure that safe, adequate transport is arranged as this will be at your own risk; we cannot be held responsible for items damaged in transit whilst out of our care.


Washing Up / Returning Dirty


All of our glassware & china have two price options based on whether they are returned clean or dirty.  Should you wish to clean the china please take great care as the age and fragility of these items means that they need a gentle touch!  Unfortunately all of our vintage china must be hand washed and not put in the dishwasher.


Breakages & Damages


We do recommend that you purchase a suitable wedding insurance for your peace of mind as our equipment is the responsibility of the hirer until it is returned to us.  Fabulously Finished provides all items for hire in good working order and these items must be returned in the same condition that which they were supplied.  In the case of vintage props & china please do be aware that the nature of these items means that they may already have some wear and tear.

If items are returned damaged or are not returned due to loss or theft, a charge will be made to replace the item. 

Please note that in some cases the damage charge may exceed the damage deposit given. In this case an invoice will be sent to you and will be payable within 28 days.  Should you wish to receive a full breakdown of replacement charges before you make your booking please get in touch and we can send this out to you.
